Scion of Light Chpt. 7

(Chapter 7 – Fateful Night)

After school, Anise came to Liana, “Liana! I’m so sorry! I can’t walk home with you today again! I really am sorry! Something came up and they want me home as soon as possible! Sorry!! I’ll make it up to you next time! I really am in a hurry..!”

Liana smiled softly, “It’s okay, Anise... Don’t worry about it! You can go anytime you want, I don’t mind.” Anise then thanked Liana and then ran out of the room while waving good bye to Liana. “I guess I have to go home alone today”

Liana looks at Rhea’s unoccupied chair, “Rhea... What did you mean by those phantoms after me? Are you really gone..?”

Liana was about to leave the school when she stumbled with Jihl and her friends. “Hmm... well, if it isn’t the stupid push-over Liana of our class. Where do you think you’re going? You think we’ll allow you to leave that easily? Where were you yesterday? Hiding? Did you know that we ended up having to submit no projects because you weren’t here? Did you know that we had to endure the teacher’s senseless blabbers because of you?” Jihl pushed Liana and Liana fell to the ground.

“You’re so stupid! You really don’t know who you’re dealing with here..!” Jihl slapped Liana, “Well!? Say something!”

Liana started crying silently out of anger and disappointment, she was panting and was forcing back her tears, but she couldn’t take it anymore, her powers suddenly reacted to her feelings, then everything that was made of glass broke, all at the same time, Liana started screaming out of pain, Jihl and her friends ran out of fear.

Scion of Light Chpt. 6

(Chapter 6 – From nightmare to reality)

Meanwhile, at the same time as the events in Celestia happens, in the Human kingdom, Terra, the next day after Liana's nightmare, Liana woke up late, but still planned to go to school. When she went downstairs, her brother stopped her from leaving and told her to rest. Liana followed her brother's decision, she just opened the television, when she saw the events of her nightmare in the news. A guy who saw what happened is being interviewed.

"I went to visit my grandmother who happens to live somewhere in the old town. I was just passing through that part of the town, when I saw a girl who looked like a high school student, running quickly and intensely from the distance. I wondered why, when suddenly I saw many other people chasing her, they wield scythes and swords, they wear red long capes and each of them has mask covering some part of their faces..." The guy who is being interviewed exposed these to the media.

Liana's fear grew stronger. She called her brother and pointed to the news, Alex wondered what's wrong when his sister suddenly said, "My nightmare... last night... Alex... That's what I dreamed about!"

Liana's eyes grew more fearful, "And the girl is..... If my dream was this news, then.... Rhea is.... Big brother, Rhea might be dead!"

Alex knew how scared his sister is, he stayed at home that day too, they continued to watch the news. "Big brother, do all the things I dream of happen in reality..? Is that another special skill of mine too other than hearing other’s thought...?" Liana asked with shivering voice. Alex knew that this is so, but he said he doesn't know anything about it so that his sister won’t be scared.

Scion of Light Chpt. 5

(Chapter 5 – Queen’s decision)

Back in Celestia, after Rhea was killed...

Aria entered a room surrounded by white, bright light. "Rhea.... Are you awake..?" Aria tries to talk to Rhea who was lying on a bed in the bright room.

Rhea responded to the call, she opened her eyes and weakly looked around her. "So, I'm back in Celestia..." She sighed.

Rhea was too weak at that time, but still she tried to stand, Aria stopped her from doing so and then later apologized for not being able to send someone to aid her in her fight. "We were attacked by the same forces; it was unknown to my senses that they were targeting the one who was guiding the girl... I'm sorry, Rhea... I didn't see through their plan."

"Well, that's okay... But we have no time for this... Now that I'm not there to protect the girl anymore, they're going to be more aggressive... I know they're going to take all chances that they have... That's why I must recover quickly..." Immediately and energetically, Rhea stands and started stretching. Aria tried to stop her for doing that but Rhea insists that she would recover fast by doing it.

"Have you reported to the queen yet, milady..?" Rhea asks while she's exercising.

"Not yet, but I was about to do so... I just thought of checking you out first... But you seemed okay..." Looks at Rhea indifferently, "So I'll be on my way..."

When Aria was about to leave the room she remembers something that Rhea might want to hear, so she smiled and said, "Oh... and Rhea... Jed sent a message... He wanted me to tell you how much he's laughing at you right now for failing a mission..."
